Terms of Service

Welcome to ConvertDM. By accessing or using our platform at convertdm.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Service Description

ConvertDM provides Instagram comment-to-DM automation software that allows businesses to automatically send direct messages to users who comment on their Instagram posts, reels, and ads using keyword triggers. The service operates through Meta's official Instagram Graph API.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use ConvertDM.
  • You must have a valid Instagram Business or Creator account.
  • You must comply with Instagram's Terms of Use and Community Guidelines.
  • You must have the authority to bind the entity on whose behalf you are using the service.

3. Account Registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep it updated.

4. Subscription & Payments

Pricing

  • Founding Members (first 100 users): $5/month (₹399/month in India) — price locked for life.
  • Standard: $9/month (₹799/month in India) — after founding spots are filled.
  • Annual plans are available at a discount.

Billing

  • Payments are processed through Stripe (global, in USD) and Razorpay (India, in INR).
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.
  • Founding Member pricing is locked for as long as the subscription remains active. If you cancel and resubscribe, the founding price is no longer guaranteed.

5. Free Trial

New users receive a 7-day free trial. No credit card is required to start the trial. At the end of the trial, you must subscribe to continue using the service. Your automation will pause if you do not subscribe.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Send spam, unsolicited messages, or misleading content via ConvertDM
  • Use the service to violate Instagram's Terms of Use or Community Guidelines
  • Attempt to circumvent API rate limits or abuse the service
  • Use ConvertDM for any illegal, fraudulent, or harmful purposes
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the platform
  • Resell or redistribute access to the service without authorization

Violation of these terms may result in immediate account suspension or termination.

7. Instagram API & Meta Compliance

ConvertDM operates as an official Meta Technology Partner using Meta's Instagram Graph API. Your use of the service is subject to Meta's Platform Terms. We are not responsible for changes to Meta's API, policies, or platform that may affect service availability.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of ConvertDM (including the platform code, design, logos, and documentation) are owned by ConvertDM and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your content (DM templates, trigger configurations, etc.).

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ConvertDM shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not responsible for downtime caused by Meta/Instagram API outages, scheduled maintenance, or circumstances beyond our control.

11. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your automation will stop and your data will be deleted within 30 days.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, India.
